- Sputter deposition of YBa2Cu3O7-d High Temperature Super Conducting coatings on metal tapes
- Continuous deposition of bi-axially textured Yttria stabilised Zirconia (YSZ) layers by means of unbalanced   magnetron sputtering
- Basic research with respect to reactive sputtering
- Stability of thin Ag coatings (10 nm) in Fabry Perot filters as used for solar heat control
